7000 m² of the CSK football arena is a place that traditionally hosts Velo Park show - one of the most significant events of Russia’s cycling industry. This year wasn’t an exception. 20-22 February representatives of cycling business, professional sportsmen, journalists, as well as extreme sports fans came together under one roof to see the novelties of the industry, to discuss the results of the competitions and best tricks on the threshold of the active season.

Companies from Russia, Belarus, Germany, India, China and Taiwan demonstrated the novelties of the season: bicycles, spare parts, equipment and accessories. All in all 65 exhibitors participated in the show. The project was supported by 43 professional media partners.

The beginning of the season started with competitions that were held in two active zones. Men's Health Dirt Masters slope style contests in BMX and MTB were held for the first time in the unique format in Russia. The distinctive feature of the track was that the park with wooden constructions and dirt jumps was built in the roofed pavilion.

The second zone was dedicated to trial cycling. The competitions on speed-trial for the Velo Park Cup, on classic trial for the Moscow Grand Prix were held under the support of Titan sport club. Such events provide a good opportunity for the sportsmen to show their sports level, to gain competition experience and to achieve new results at the beginning of the season.

In spite of economic instability, Velo Park remains the centre of Russia’s cycling industry, bringing together world brands and famous sportsmen.
